About

On The Recreational Engineer we want to take a look at the fun side of engineering. With a little bit of know how and some motivation, there's a whole world of low cost engineering projects to be explored. All of the videos on this channel aim to provide enough information to allow anyone with enough interest to pursue these projects on their own. Dan Foresi, the producer of The Recreational Engineer is currently a Researcher at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Dan's research is focused on high temperature metal forming simulations with a focus on automotive applications. During his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, also at Queen's University, Dan worked as the lead designer for the Queen's Formula SAE powertrain system for several years.
