My name is Caroline Strawson and I experienced narcissistic abuse, domestic abuse and coercive control and I didn't even realise I'd been in an abusive relationship because there were no visible bruises. I had CPTSD, anxiety, depression, panic attacks and self-harm. Talk therapy alone didn't work for me because trauma lives in the body, not just in the mind. So that's when I completely retrained from my medical background into more nervous system and somatic work. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Internal Family Systems (All 3 levels)EMDR, Brainspotting, breathwork, hypnotherapy, sound healing, trauma informed coaching and I hold a Post Grad in applied positive psychology. I help you build a nervous system capacity that can cope in the presence of stress, struggle, and challenge, and not waiting for the absence of it.
