みなさん、こんにちは！Hapa EikaiwaのJunです。母親が日本人、父親がアメリカ人のロサンゼルス生まれ育ちのハーフです。幼い時期から両文化で育ってきた僕は、日米双方の教育を受けてきました。カリフォルニア州にあるUC Santa Barbara大学を卒業し、交換留学で一年間、一橋大学で大学生活を送りました。その後、石川県内灘町役場で国際交流員として赴任し、２年間の勤務を経て、ロサンゼルスへ帰国、2011年に英会話学校「BYB English Center」をアーバインで開校しました。「言語と文化は切り離せない！」文化、習慣、教育、考え方から人間関係、双方体験してきた僕は、英語を勉強されている皆さんに少しでも役立つようHAPA英会話を始めました。これまで、英語を教える一方、自身は日本語を学んできた経験から肌で感じたこと・・・それは「言語と文化は切り離せない！」。だからこそ英語だけでなく、文化を取り入れた多くの表現、知識、ローカル情報をご紹介していきたいと思います。『HAPA』とは？混血のことをハーフやミックス（最近はダブルともいいますね）と日本ではよく表現されますが、ロサンゼルス（カリフォルニア州）では「HAPA」と呼ぶことも一般的です。HAPAは元々ハワイ語から由来した言葉で「半分」または「一部」を意味します。その名の通り「Hapa Eikaiwa」=「ハーフがお伝えする英会話」です！仕事のお問い合わせ： TEL: 03-5725-0226
