We are Kerry & Dorie, a keen amateur allotmenteer and a 10 year old miniature schnauzer living and growing in Leicestershire. We have a kitchen garden and (sort of) food forest front garden, which I started cultivating in 2021. In Dec 2022 we took on a full-size allotment plot and at the end of 2024 we moved to a new plot with a polytunnel. Join us week by week as I try to figure out how to best 'grow your own' in the home garden and on the plot as a relative beginner. Expect plenty of planting, harvesting, composting and yapping - me and the dog! I also do a bit of cooking, fermenting, hiking, and foraging.
