Cryptography is amazing. Cryptography protects the privacy of people by providing secrecy to personal data, or by providing secrecy to information exchanged between people that have never met before. Cryptography also enables the legal binding of people to data down to the single bit. These are just few examples of amazing feats offered by Cryptography, a subject that at the core ultimately relies on assumptions about the difficulty of fundamental problems in mathematics and computer science. With my courses, I hope to provide an understanding of the workings of fundamental elements of Cryptography and the many applications that can be built with it.
