In 2021, (after years of searching) I was able to purchase a 41 acre/16.5 hectare property deep in the mountains of western Canada at a bargain price. It felt like winning a lottery! One of the only private properties in this gigantic region. Far away from just about any form of civilization and surrounded by an endless wilderness of valleys, rivers, lakes and large trees, I knew I had found a rare gem of private land. With no roads, no neighbors and very little building restrictions (and not to mention a river and creek that runs through it all !), I couldn't be happier with this freedom in the wilderness. Follow my journey while I try and carve something out of this raw and sometimes unforgiving wilderness.
